44-hour water outage set to hit Joburg
Johannesburg Water says the postponed 44-hour water outage will now take place next week.
A large number of areas in the city will be affected.
Originally scheduled for 20 June, the outage was postponed by Johannesburg Water to offer relief to areas facing water supply difficulties in the preceding weeks.
The planned shutdown will now take place next week Tuesday from 7pm until 3pm on Thursday.
This planned shutdown aims to connect the A19 and B14 with a new pipeline and upgrade Rand Water’s Eikenhof pump station.
