Woman shot dead outside hospital!
AN employee at an Eastern Cape private hospital was shot and killed outside the vicinity.
Police spokeswoman Captain Sandra Janse Van Rensburg confirmed the incident that happened on Sunday night, 2 April at St Georges Park in Gqeberha.
“It was alleged that at about 7pm, the deceased was walking towards her transport after she completed her shift at the hospital and was approached by an unknown suspect who pulled her aside and shot her multiple times.
“The suspect fled on foot and the deceased was rushed to hospital where she passed away,” Van Rensburg said.
She said the motive for the shooting is still unknown.
No arrests have been made, and police are investigating a case of murder.
